POSITION TITLE: Investor Relations Manager

Owlet’s Finance team is looking for an experienced Investor Relations Manager with an expertise in developing and executing the Company’s investor relations activities and communications. This role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Target, plan, and manage virtual and in-person investor meetings, and investor conferences with the CEO and CFO.
  • Drive the preparation of quarterly earnings materials, including key messages, press releases, and conference call materials.
  • Support responding to in-bound investor inquiries and maintaining proper disclosure practices for the company's investor relations website.
  • Become a trusted resource and develop strong relationships and credibility with key internal teams including, finance, legal, accounting, and marketing to build a better understanding of the company and to execute job responsibilities efficiently and effectively
  • Learn, master and execute Investor Relations best practices including principles of materiality and fair disclosure
  • Ad hoc projects and analysis as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • 5-7 years of relevant public company experience, including experience in public company investor relations and/or finance, or at an investment bank, asset manager. Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 percent travel expectations.
  • Excellent understanding of financial modeling and valuation concepts/techniques used by analysts and investors.
  • Broad understanding of the capital markets and ability to interpret trends.
  • Ability to work in a fast-moving, collaborative, multi-tasking environment.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to effectively engage senior leadership.
